GENERATIONS OF FAITH IN ACTION
:: Youth Sundays

Our Primary Class (1st to 3rd graders) composed their own Prayers of the People for Youth Sunday on April 3rd.  Let us give thanks for these wonderful young Christians.

 

With all our hearts and with all our minds, let us pray to the Lord, saying, "Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for Peace:  (Julian - 2nd grade)
Dear God:  Let there be no fighting, no shoving, or no more war or killing.   "Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for the Clergy:  (Gregory - 3rd grade)
Dear God:  Please keep the priests to keep on preaching good sermons.  "Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for the earth:  (Ryan - 3rd grade)
Dear God:  Let the earth be not attacked from bad men.  Let the earth be safe from men who don't love the earth.  "Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for the poor and the sick:  (Tori - 3rd grade)
Dear God:  Let the poor have food to eat, water to drink, and houses to live in.  Let the sick get better from all their diseases.  "Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for all those who died:  (Joy - 3rd grade)
Dear God:  Bless the people who have died and were good on earth.  " Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for the weather:  (Samantha - 1st grade)
Dear God:  Thank you for spring, summer, fall and winter.  Thank you for the clouds and sun and rain. 
"Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for our town:  (Chiomo - 2nd grade)
Dear God:  Thank you for letting us have the town of Plainfield to live in.  Thank you for letting us be safe in Plainfield. 
"Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for Jesus:  (Ian - 3rd grade)
Dear God:  Thank you for giving us the most wonderful and best gift, Jesus. 
"Lord, hear our prayer."

 

Prayer for God's creation:  (Wesley - 3rd grade)
Dear God:  Thank you for all of God's creations and thank you that they all have a purpose and are all valuable.  "Lord, hear our prayer."

The men of St. Mark's will be holding their annual fund raising Fish Fry on Saturday, August  23, 2014 from 12 noon to 6:00p.m.
