The St. Mark's Youth Group is a vibrant organization that is a core component of our church. All junior and senior high school students are invited to join the Youth Group. This group meets once a month.  The Youth Group actively participates in Sunday worship services.  Several times a year, our young people - members of the Youth Group and younger Sunday School students - literally take charge of the service.  They deliver the sermon of the day, do the scripture readings, share their own prayers, and perform all the functions of our regular ushers.

St. Mark's is very proud of its Youth Choir which, like the Youth Group, is made up of junior and senior high schoolers.  This choir performs regularly during Sunday services.  The group has been invited to perform at several other churches around New Jersey and in New York City.  We are equally proud of out Children's Choir, a group of elementary school students, which also regularly performs in Sunday services.

Our youth involve themselves in many outreach activities.  For several years, they sponsored a child in Uganda.  The child was very appreciative of their efforts and communicated with our kids regularly.

Our Youth Group is not all work and no play.  They organize their own fun activities.  They plan the annual ski trip, their summer outing to a nearby amusement park, and Christmas parties for homeless children, to name a few.  Last Christmas, the Youth Group hosted a party for the 'Dreamers' of the I Have A Dream program.  A good time was had by all.
