  • JUMP INTO JOURNALISM for high school girls
    Minorities Journalism Workshop at Monmouth University will be held July 2 - 14, 2006 in West Long Branch.   • TechXploration  - a month long technology camp for high school freshman girls
    Middlesex Count College (MCC) is offering a 4 week summer camp for girls about to enter their sophomore year.  Teen girls will design, develop, and construct a working model of a fairground ride, visit a theme park to better understand how amusement park rides work and learn from female mentors working in engineering.  They will also practice karate as part of the program.  This FREE camp is organized by the National Center for Advanced Technological Education.  It will be held at MCC's Edison NJ campus from July 5 to August 2, 2006.  For more information, contact Karen Ford at 732-906-7735 or by email at Karen_Ford@middlesexcc.edu.   Visit www.njcate.org/techxploration to apply online.
